Here are some shows I have been Meaning to Watch but haven't yet. Which do you think would make good sickbed entertainment for me?

Picked the only one I've seen, no offense meant to the other shows (I've been meaning to watch Castle and White Collar myself).

I would also recommend NCIS:LA for intense amounts of gay.

White Collar is a great buddy show, but it's not a procedural show. I don't know if that's important to you or not.

Oh, god. I voted for Leverage, but [personal profile] zvi is so right: NCIS:LA has insane amounts of gay. And LL Cool J's arms. Yum.

and I realize I really need a Sam/G icon to use here on DW, mmm.

Castle is my favorite thing to watch these days. Leverage and White Collar are also awesome, but Castle is my happy show these days.

Yeah...theamusedone provided the first season for me over the summer and I pretty much watched it all at once. So much awesome.

I voted for both Leverage and Castle - they're both ridiculous amounts of fun. I would, however, recommend Castle slightly more for a sickbed: it's fluffier and I think requires less episode-to-episode tracking than Leverage.
(and besides, Nathan Fillion makes everything better. *g*)

Castle is silly fun, but with very likeable characters and a general lack of fail. It doesn't take itself too seriously, but it does have lots of people being good at their job, nicely consistent characterization. Light, fun, easy.

The Mentalist is a bit more meaty, but it has great team dynamics with a tam that actually like each other, more angst in the background, still quite a lot of humour, but lots of people being very good at what they do and other characters know it. Also, Cho's deadpan is the best deadpan.

Both shows have multiple strong female characters who are defined by their jobs rather than their romantic interests (though those may be present).
