Today, apparently, is going to be the kind of day that starts with waking up and thinking about what kind of day it's going to be and listening to the birds sing and looking forward to the weekend, which for me starts tomorrow and will be featuring a lot of extended family...

...And then remembering that last night I worked out the concept for an entire Sexbot!Neal AU and swore I would actually write it.

Also I cannot figure out how to structure it with casefiles vs. main arc.

Of course there are still casefiles. Peter works in Robotic Crimes. Neal helps.

Gotcha. I am generally not the person for babyfic (SHOCKING, I'm sure), but I kind of love all iterations of what I've come up with so far for them. There's the one where everything's going to shit and Neal has been kidnapped (again) and maybe family is coming to visit or something and Peter is having a "JESUS CHRIST CAN ANYTHING *ELSE* GO WRONG?!" moment and El offers "Well, I'm pregnant?" Then there's the one where they've been trying and trying to conceive and can't and they ask Neal to be their donor and Peter winds up super insecure because he's watching Neal fall totally in love with his gorgeous glowing pregnant wife and is too stupid to realize Neal has been in love with him all along. *shifty*

Peter and El want to teach him to be a Real Boy, and Neal gets ALL FRUSTRATED because he's really just a sexbot with a couple of illegal modifications, WHY DO THEY KEEP EXPECTING SO MUCH OF HIM.
