Oh, haha, I personally don't see many redeeming features in it as a piece of television, and I say this as someone who semi-legitimately likes True Blood, or at least I feel a little less disappointed in myself for continuing to watch it.
The first time Skarsgard showed up in True Blood, with douchey long hair and sitting there glowering, I laughed so hard I almost choked up a piece of my lung, and I was sold. At this point he generally just looks like he can't believe he's still on this fucking show but I'm reluctantly entranced by some of the other performances (most of the characters who aren't Sookie are really well-played) and Joe Mangianello with his shirt off is magnificent, I can't look directly at him.
