So for reasons that don't need exploring at this juncture, I became a co-mod of tw_holidays after I signed up to participate. How much time could it take up, being one of four mods on a holiday exchange?

My point is, we've had a truly staggering number of defaults-at-the-deadline, so if anybody wants to jump in and write a pinch hit--1,000 word minimum, we can give you at least a week and probably longer--please, please, please go on over to the pinch hitter sign up post and let us know.
