Huh. Does anybody make WTNV icons? Are there comms? I only really interact with Night Vale via tumblr and the AO3.

ANYWAY.

Welcome to Night Vale! It is great! It has Cecil/Carlos in canon and also in fanworks! There is TONS OF FANART. I reblog a lot of it on Tumblr.

Don't forget the official Night Vale twitter account.

Some real-world stuff like con appearances, live shows, and merchandise, but mostly in-show cryptic sayings. For example:

- Welcome to the neighborhood. We arranged a housewarming party for you. Then, next week, we arranged the houseburning.

- You should be proud that you will never be trapped in a well. Stand here and feel proud. A little more to the right. Good. Proud. Hold still

- Saying that it's "your blood" makes you sound really possessive. I like to think of it as OUR blood.

- Your Man Card has been revoked. You aren't a real man. You have short tentacles & can't survive out of water. Here's your Cuttlefish Card.

Man, thanks for the rec post. I though I was pretty plugged into the scene on tumblr, but I haven't seen any of these.

I find most of the WTNV fic I read by keeping an eye on http://pinboard.in/popular/fandom - you have to wade through All The Fandoms, obviously, but Night Vale stuff pops up pretty frequently, and it's a nice glimpse of what's popular in general. It updates once a day.
