y'know. stuff.

Work wasn't so bad. Didn't get Talked To (which meant no opportunity to get suddenly fed up and quit on the spot, so, oh well) and instead spent the night as I did Wednesday night, doing up holiday displays on the Red Rolling Racks. It was about as exciting as that sounds, but actually a pretty good night at work, as nights at work go.

Lots of time to think. Anybody have an opinion on warning for past partner betrayal, i.e. an AU Ray who cheated on Stella? a lot?

And speaking of hockey... Oh, my poor poor Wings. My fault, I know, going to work instead of staying home and focusing my psychic energy on them. And poor, poor Manny, who had to stay in goal when he'd let in five, because there's not really anybody to do better, since against all odds Cujo and Dom both seem to be suffering actual groin injuries, rather than the Scotty Bowman style conflict avoiding "groin injuries" of the Vernon-Osgood days. And poor minus-three Fish.

Calgary tonight, and apparently playing in Calgary normally messes them up. Maybe it'll be some sort of double negative canceling effect and they'll snap out of their winless streak? A girl can dream...

Also, there's this song. Plays on the top forty/dance station, which we had to listen to tonight at work because coworker girl got to the stereo first (you know it's not a good sign when there's an audible THANK YOU at the 2am station change...) and includes a repeated line that sounds sort of like "I don't eat quiche quiche quiche quiche quiche," or something. Possibly it's just [livejournal.com profile] helaaspindakaas's continued assertions on the non-relation of quiche-eating and gender-identity. I'm sure I'm hallucinating it (googled it to be certain) so, um. What is he saying?
