CA:TWS HYDRA Trash Party Kid Fic: Could Never Prepare You
So ages ago, as I do in every fandom, I started plotting MCU kidfic. I even started writing it! There was Steve, and Sam, and a baby in a HYDRA genetics lab who looked just like Bucky Barnes when he was a year old. His name was Teddy, and I got really attached to him, but the babyfic got out-competed by some other bunnies, so it languished. I had just started looking at it again when a prompt for kidfic hit the hydratrashmeme, and, well, this happened:

The thing I find most embarrassing about this story is in fact the source of the title.
This story was written at the hydratrashmeme for a prompt requesting Bucky having to explain his history of sexual abuse at HYDRA's hands to his child when video evidence of that abuse was leaked to the public.
In this story, the child in question is five years old, and Bucky is forced to explain after his son is tricked/coerced by older kids into watching a video clip of Bucky being tortured and raped, and is told by those kids that the video depicts things Teddy's other dads do to Bucky regularly.
This story includes the child describing some of what he saw, but neither the rape nor the incident where the child was made to watch the video (and the schoolyard fistfight that followed) are shown onscreen.
What is shown onscreen is Bucky coming to find his very scared, upset, bruised and bloodied little kid, and 14,000 words of pretty much continuous cuddling and comfort.
