So, it's Supreme Court Affirmative Action Ruling day here in Ann Arbor - had to navigate around five different news trucks to get to work this morning at the library. Apparently results are mixed, and I am just. Keeping my mouth shut.

Eight days of work left - my last day at this job is the 3rd of July. Then, the road trip, and then: unemployment! wheeeeee!

So, for possibly the first time in my experience of file-sharing, there are two songs that I just. can't. get. Not that people aren't sharing them, and not that they won't download. But there appear to be no decent listenable copies of Sam Roberts' "Brother Down" or Finger Eleven's "Sad Exchange." Every copy I've downloaded has weird interference. So, are the files encoded so that they won't rip to mp3s properly? Or is it just bad luck? You be the judge...
