Finally got around to going to Blockbuster and, despite the snickering of the best friend and the pointedly unruffled expression of the clerk, rented Masterminds. And, as an afterthought, Picture Claire, but I haven't watched that yet.

I didn't exactly watch Masterminds either. I mean, it's a tape, so I did sort of *see* most of it, on fast forward, while trying to get to the bits with Callum (the snickering of the best friend, compounded by the 'Hey, it's your money' of her boyfriend, meant that if I'm going to watch the whole movie? It'll be while they're not home...) and, rar. Spiky hair, leather, British accent (though obscured by the amount of shouting...), and I think I need to go read Crossroads. Again. For the fourth time.

Also, caught Torso (starring Kathleen Robinson--who reminded me of Liv Tyler and Emma Caulfield--not Suzy Kendall, and featuring CKR) on cable, and that was fun to watch. And if Inspector Wood was interestingly immune to Evelyn's feminine charms, well. I'm sure it's just because he's good at his job. Honestly. No other explanation ever crossed my mind.
What *did* cross my mind was that it made an interesting contrast to Chicago, minus the singing and dancing.

So, it's been pointed out to me that my brain, with regard to plot bunnies, is sort of like Australia: lacking in natural predators, so that the nasty little herbivores just keep multiplying out of control.

Clearly, what this ecosystem needs is the introduction of Plot Dingoes.
