Aug. 23rd, 2003 12:19 pmI'm awake! It's light outside and I'm awake! Not for much longer, in all likelihood, but, still. Hurray for the weekend.
Next stop, after the library, is to buy a dresser. Because my clothes have been in a laundry basket and a hamper since we moved, and it's just silly. Also, my love for IKEA is waning: I ordered furniture from them, online, over a week ago, and still have not been contacted regarding the actual cost of my order. I did want that desk sometime this year...
Also, I was staring at my computer before going to work last night (no writing, still, yet, but I have hopes for this weekend) and listing to my mp3s at the same time. The last song I heard before going on-shift for 8 1/2 very. slow. hours. was "Something's Gonna Die Tonight" and now I'm thinking about the economic status of Joe's family of origin, and how it compares to Billy's.
And Billy has started talking to me. I keep telling him a) I have no idea what to do with what he's saying and b) would he please go away and send Ray out, but he says he doesn't know any Ray and keeps talking.
