(no subject)

w00t! I'm online! On my own computer, in the comfort of my own home! Given Mark Pierre's reliability issues (and the fact that he's accompanying me to TorCon in 24 hours) running the dsl through my computer (currently the only one compatible with the modem) is probably not a long-term solution, but, hey! I'm online! w00t!

I'm also talking to my mother on the phone (she called me, okay? And I'm not fully awake, so I wasn't on the ball enough to not answer...) and, hey, she's still insane! Though in a friendlyish way, now, if self-centered and boring. At least we're not discussing my deviance. Yet. (Oh, we're discussing #3 Brother's fecklessness, instead... bugger.)

I know I had more to say - thelionforreal and I went out and saw Pirates of the Caribbean together on, um, Sunday (is that yesterday?), and it was lots of fun and she adored it. Me, I noticed that I mentally pronounce PotC 'Potsie', which is strange, although, I gather, not as strange as I would find it if I'd ever watched Happy Days.
