Nov. 28th, 2003 01:34 pmAhhh, Thanksgiving.
I got to see all my brothers, and sister-in-law and brother's girlfriend and parents, plus an assortment of aunts, uncles, and cousins, and my first-cousin-once-removed, who's one and a half and can already identify pi when it's drawn on her magnadoodle. (She's the child of two automotive engineers, and the granddaughter of another, so not hugely surprising). Had a family meal that seemed to consist entirely of passing plates and trying to cadge the good food from the grown ups' table, which we managed to do largely by virtue of outnumbering them, and never quite felt sick-full until the second piece of pie. Oops.
Got to do extra hanging out with #3 Brother afterward - brought him home and watched about five hours of television, including I Love the 80's Strikes Back and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, which he found wildly entertaining. Hopefully we can do this more often next semester, and find some other way to meet up in the meantime.
Maybe I should get *him* on LJ... Hmmm.
