GIP! And a chart!
Mar. 4th, 2004 07:14 amIt's a Fraser icon. It's a distractibility icon. It's a
heuradys icon! Everything a girl could need.
Also, the other night, after battering my brain into cowering submission by playing spider solitaire for an hour or so, I made a spreadsheet with a chronological listing of every
ds_flashfiction challenge completed so far with the total number of stories and total number of unique authors (which reduces the outlier effects of challenges like cliche and amnesty). I've copy-and-pasted the numbers below (apologies for what is sure to be seriously wonky formatting) and am still trying to figure out how to display the graph.
Disclaimer: These stats are subject to lots of error, given that I was in a bit of a stupor when I made the chart. The 'author' counts, in particular, are probably not perfectly accurate. Still, it gives an idea of how participation has fluctuated since the community started.
ETA: Okay, so it's not just wonky, it's more or less unreadable. Anybody know how to do tables in LJ?
ETA #2: Readable table in comments, courtesy of
dossier. Thanks!
