My journal is called Monomania, because last year when I got my LJ I was easing out of my obsession with Spike and all things BtVS (the phase where I was sitting in a history colloquium writing Spikespikespikespike dirty. blond. curls. had come a bit earlier in the semester) and I realized that my life, particularly the part where I talk to other people about what I'm thinking about, is all about my obsessions.
People who talk to me in real life can vouch for this, though so far they've all been too circumspect to actually carve a warning label into my forehead.
My subtitle is How I learned to stop worrying and love the blond because, well, Spike. Obsession. And LJ is where I embrace my obsessions and blather on. Except when I'm busy or tired or feeling too shy to talk to people even via the intarweb, and then I don't. (Just for the record, I've never actually seen Dr. Strangelove, but I thought it had a cool subtitle. So I stole it.)
My friends page is called, uh, whatever the default is. Dira Sudis's Friends, I think. Because defaults are easy, and I just don't care that much. Sorry, guys.
And, just for the hell of it, my username is dsudis, because it's my yahoo userid/email address, because when I came to university and they gave me that email address, it was firstininitallastname, and I stuck with that winning pattern.
Well, that and 'dira' was already taken two years ago, by, er. Me. And then I deleted that journal and sowed the relevant webspace with salt, which is sort of too bad, because, dude! I once had a five-digit LJ number! And I threw it all away.
Anyway, play along at home! Tell your friends!
