For some reason, I seem to have wound up with a really whacked-out set of childhood memories. Apparently I spent most of my early years watching TV shows, eating cereals, and playing with toys that no one else remembers.
( And this is about the point where I just started rambling uncontrollably... )
Anyway, all of that was to say, in the course of hanging out with #2 Brother the other day, I managed to confirm another of my odd memories - the expensive and highly-prized cereal that we could only ever talk Dad into buying - never Mom - that came in a little red box with a soccer player on the front and contained Riboflavin was called Pro-Grain. My brother couldn't confirm that it was actually shaped like little R's or P's, but, hey, at least now I know I didn't completely hallucinate it. Score one for me.
(Icon, which comes from an anti-homophobia ad campaign, in honor of #2 brother being a bit more tolerant than I gave him credit for, and also because I like staring at the kissing hockey boys.)
