Saturday rambling

I'm moving out of my apartment here in Michigan four weeks from today, and into my apartment in Maryland six days later. This morning I had my first anxiety dream about it (not exactly scary, once I woke up and reminded myself that, no, it's not a one-bedroom shared apartment I'll be moving into--it would be kind of neat to have a Math student as a roommate, though, I guess...), which I suppose means that I've finally actually realized it's actually going to happen.

Tomorrow I'm going to an overnight family-gathering type thing at a camp run by Methodists, which means no alcohol and no internet and over 24 hours in the presence of my mother and assorted maternal relatives. On the bright side, I'll probably get to see my nephew, and I'm contemplating taking my computer along so I can watch episodes of Numb3rs or Atlantis or write porn if when I get bored.

I wrote 263 words of my midsummer_santa fic this morning, and then went back to sleep.

Oh, and I won $3 in the lottery. Take that, Charlie "Better-chance-of-being-struck-by-lightning" Eppes.
