(no subject)

So for the past few days, various cables and ropes have appeared outside my window, hanging from the roof to the ground, but I was never able to spot the scaffold I assumed they were supporting until today.

When I got out of the shower. I've never been gladder to have left the blinds closed.

Anyway, they appear to be sealing up some space between the top of the brick facade and the bottom of the bit that looks like sandstone, which is smack in the middle of the floor I'm on. So right now? The guy on the scaffold is directly outside my window. Hi, guy on the scaffold.

I think I'm gonna go do my reading in the kitchen, now.
