I think I might actually cry.
Oct. 4th, 2005 10:20 amI don't know if I've maybe mentioned, with regard to Numb3rs, that the guiding principle of everything CBS does appears to be "We find viewers annoying and wish they would go away." But I think it is.
I popped over to the (lame, lame, pathetic) official site today to confirm that the next ep airing would be "Assassin," which was production-order episode #1 for season two, so that we could finally meet Nadine and Colby and Megan for the first time and find out what the frak is going on with everyone.
Ahahahaha. No.
No! No, Friday's episode is "Obsession." Production-order episode number five.
So, currently, as scheduled, the sequence of airing for the first five Numb3rs episodes of this season will be 2, 3, 5, 4, 1. I can make pretty numerical patterns out of that, but not a fuck of a lot of linear narrative progression.
Seriously, CBS, wtf?
