I'm a PC person, ok?
Feb. 21st, 2006 06:28 pmI have owned my shiny-new 60 GB iPod (with video!) for about two hours now. Thus far:
Possibly the only song I do own legally, "Viva Portland," by Chad Crouch, which was rattling around iTunes all alone, cannot be downloaded to my iPod because I don't have the rights to play it on my computer. My iPod has decided that it would like to be named Fortinbras, which I am not even sure how to pronounce. We have agreed that he shall be addressed as "Fort" in conversation. Stupid iTunes has made complete hash of a music-file organizational system of four and a half years' standing. Thanks, iTunes. Thanks for stopping by. Thanks for breaking my directories. If Fort never winds up with more than a round-trip commute's worth of music loaded, we'll know who to blame, won't we? ETA: Actually, fuck you too, Windows. WHY CAN'T YOU DISPLAY FILE EXTENSIONS IN FILE LISTINGS, YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF SHIT OS?Thanks, guys. Apparently buying very small, very expensive things makes me edgy. *g*
