strangecobwebs and I have ventured into a terrifyingly hippie-cool coffee house tonight for Write Club: Maryland, the idea being to sit with our laptops and overpriced beverages and peer-pressure one another into writing.

Only a) there's free WiFi, and b) any sex scene you've been attempting to write for a month and a half automatically becomes a fate worse than death. Also, free refills on soda = many, many trips to the incredibly tiny bathroom (you can, literally, without exaggeration, wash your hands in the sink while sitting on the toilet). There's magnet poetry conveniently placed for your entertainment while you're occupied, and on my third trip I managed to make

CAT wax ing

which really kind of sums up the evening so far.
