Stupid LJ tricks and TRAINING CAMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First off: does anybody have any idea why my LJ style keeps resetting itself from Flexible Squares to Generator? I've only noticed it when I'm at work, in (sigh) IE, but it keeps my custom colors and other settings, and if I go to Customize and change it back to Flexible Squares, it works fine.

Anyway. It's mid-September! It's Callum Keith Rennie's birthday! It's BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I POSTED ABOUT HOCKEY!

First off: The Washigton Capitals have named their captain for this season: #17, Chris Clark! ( Behold! )

There was talk about naming last year's super-rookie, Alex Ovechkin, captain this year, but I'm pleased they held off. Olie Kolzig is the real leader of the team, and Alex is all of twenty years old and will always be front and center; it's good to let somebody else carry the C on his shoulder.

Secondly: The Detroit Red Wings STILL have not named their next captain, but I forgive them because the guys are just ( so cute! )

This is the kind of holiday I can get behind. Or. In front of?

brooklinegirl informs us that Callum Keith Rennie's birthday is to be celebrated as Canadian Blowjob Day, and I do not argue with the wisdom of the brooklinegirl. I'm a bit short on Canadians these days, though, so I had to fill in the ranks with a Mexican. Happily, he didn't mind helping out.
