I am not even making this up.

For reasons that don't need exploring at this juncture, a co-worker just asked me, "Did you do some voodoo?"

It was all I could do not to burst out laughing (or into song) on the spot. I spent several seconds trying to get my face under control and then said, "Yes. Yes, I did some voodoo," and through sheer force of will, I managed to refrain from ending the sentence with BAYBEE!
