WIP Amnesty, Part 1 of Dear God.

So I've been meaning to participate in WIP Amnesty every year since... 2004? And always manage to miss the big official one at wip_amnesty. So now that I've built up a three-year backlog of permanently unfinished stories that I still, for some reason, wish could have a chance to see the light of day, I'm taking a page from rubynye's book, and the bull by the horns, and dear lord so many other cliches, and rolling my own.

I plan on posting once a day until I run out of WIPs, which should take... until the end of the month. Whee? And it goes without saying, but I'll repeat it up front: none of these are ever, ever, ever getting finished ever.


Going in roughly chronological order, this is the oldest WIP I have kicking around for which I still feel any fondness, dating from early Spring 2003.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Spike/Xander, post-S4 basement-dwelling abused!Xander h/c. I mentioned the cliches, right? NC-17 and probably one of the first slash sex scenes I ever wrote, if not the very first. Hooboy.

And then they all live happily ever after! Also there was going to be actual candy at some point. I'm pretty sure this one died because instead of actually working on it, I went and reread Chocolatey Goodness several times in a row and promptly recovered from all ambition to write my own. And thus the world was spared. *g*

And then they was et by reavers, the end.

Someday, I am going to write something in this fandom of which I am not tempted to say that I really don't usually write this sort of thing. Today is not that day.

Apropos of my speculations on Seeley Booth's past as a hockey player and at lilac_one's behest (oh yes you DO owe me fic now, and I have two words for you: one is Kiss and the other is Cam, and you know I'm not talking about Dr. Saroyan, baby) ... ice skating.

iuliamentis aided, abetted, and should most certainly be charged as an accessory before, during, and after the fact.

Booth and Brennan, gen? I guess? Inasmuch and Booth and Brennan are ever gen? Gooshy ice skating fluff.
