You can take the girl off the List...
Mar. 13th, 2007 09:11 am...but you can't get the List off the girl.
Which is to say that after getting dressed this morning in a new sweater (pink) and the pants that matched the shoes I wanted to wear (brown), it took me markedly less than five minutes to think, "Hey! House Bharaputra colors!"
I'm sure that if I were still on-List it would have been less a matter of noticing and more a part of my decision-making process while getting dressed.
Unrelatedly, I'm sure that whoever is doing whatever they're doing at the Hotel Monaco has a really good reason for being dropped off and picked up by police-escorted charter bus during rush hour. It's just the part where the empty charter bus, still escorted by police, still with sirens blaring, then circles the block, that is a bit difficult for the yet-uncaffeinated pedestrian to accept.
