b) Seriously, guys, I think Helene St. James at the Free Press is our kind of girl. After yesterday's article featuring Frankie and Hank having to hug it out, today we get one titled "SEPARATED ONLY BY SUMMER: Draper, Maltby Stay Paired."

"It's a good friendship, but as soon as the season ends, that's it," Draper said, laughing. "He's done with me for a couple of months. I kid him about that -- during the season we do a lot of things together, and then when the season ends phone calls don't get returned, text messages, nothing. I used to check in on him and see how things were going and never got any replies. I call it seasonal friendship."

Cleary fondly refers to Maltby and Draper as "grumpy old men," and Chris Osgood, who has seen their friendship blossom from the start, noted the two maybe sometimes should spend more time apart.

"They fight quite a bit these days, about everything -- baseball, soccer, they always get in fights about soccer games," Osgood said. "They bicker like they've been together too long. They start getting mad at each other, so you have to tell them not to sweat the small stuff. But in the end they're back where they always have been, good buds, and they just go out and play."

...so. yes. Hockey loves me and wants me to be happy!
