I just synced my iPod for the first time in, uh, about two months. And in the process I made a "playlist" that consists of the third of the music on my iPod that I actually want to listen to (just over a thousand songs), including a lot of live stuff and B-sides and, er, the entire Cobra Starship album that I haven't listened to because I got them less than two months ago and then never synced my iPod.
Anyway, I just heard, for the first time, Brendon Urie singing a song called "Tonight, Tonight" (by a band called The Smashing Pumpkins) and doing a little edit to make it his band's own:
and the embers never fade, in your city by the lake,
in the place where Jon was born
...and, I'm sorry, that is the most adorable thing ever, and you've all probably heard it a hojillion times, but really. ♥ ♥ ♥
