Not the way I wanted to start my day.

Wrote 2500 words of in-the-zone, really-excited-about-it fic last night.

In the copy of the file I'd opened from my email.

Which did not save anywhere on my hard drive, not in any secret temp folder, nowhere.

*puts head down*

Not such a bad way to end the day, considering.

Okay, so my poor Caps lost in overtime in Game 7.

And Obama did not pull off an astonishing upset victory in Pennsylvania.

But I did manage to reconstruct, rewrite, and get on with the story I nearly despaired of this morning, and finished it and sent it off to beta. So that's something!
