Something to ponder while I'm off at archery:

What do we know about Ianto Jones, or about Hufflepuff (Hogwarts, Wizarding society in general) that says Ianto couldn't in fact have actually been a Hufflepuff, now living undercover while exploring the Muggle approach to Unexplained Phenomena with Torchwood? The two cosmologies fit together oddly quite easily, in my head.

(I think, born in August 1983, Ianto would have been a very young first year during Harry's fourth, yeah? I checked Sorting in GoF, and none of the students sorted are specified between Dennis Creevey and Laura Madley.)

The thing is, I can't remember a time in my adult life when I wanted to wave an American flag. When I didn't feel like my country's flag belonged to everybody in my country who wasn't like me.

If we could elect this guy, though.
