Do not attempt to participate in the democratic process when you have had more beer than food in the recent past.

Also: I have now discovered the downside of those form letter websites that allow you to easily contact your congressperson about whatever issue someone on your flist is in hysterics over.

And for the record, as I have remembered now, I actually think cleaning up the problems of orphan works, and thus limiting the infinite red tape of copyright, is a good thing. I just have to trust that my congresswoman is, uh, not an idiot, and not too much swayed by form e-mails. Sent by mildly intoxicated constituents up past their bedtimes on a Sunday night.
