this is not the first LJ icon I ever had, but it is not an unreasonable facsimile.

So I watched the latter five hours of Band of Brothers ("Bastogne" and then you gotta watch "Breaking Point" and at that point you're kind of committed to this as a project so you might as well watch "The Last Patrol" too, and then there's only two left, and if you're gonna watch "Why We Fight" you absolutely have to watch "Points" and hooboy, now it's dark out) today.

I am suffering a weird lingering side effect. It's not a feeling of sadness or tendency to duck at loud noises (though I am feeling a general sense of awe, because those guys, those regular guys, holy shit, they did that).

I just keep hearing the goddamn DVD menu music.

Is this something to be concerned about?
