so, hey, dreamwidth!

Here is my obligatory post on my plans regarding Dreamwidth, the new and awesomer journaling service, which I have been (er, apparently silently, I think I have totally failed to post about it before now) super excited about since last year, when I first ran across the beginnings of the plans for it.

My plan is this: on April 30, I will be buying an account (though if anyone has an invite code going spare before then, I would be happy to give it a home - but I am also planning to throw my bit into the pot by way of financial support, so I'll get there either way). From then until it no longer seems necessary, I'll be crossposting and crossreading between DW and LJ.

But I'm not actually there yet! I'm just saying. Right now I do have an OpenID set up, and am enjoying the many lovely features this allows me, including icons, comment notifications, and a reading list (so I can keep track of who all I'll want to subscribe to when I get my actual journal set up over there).

So: if you're already over there, let me know where so I can find you!
