I'm reading The Hunger Games and, without being precisely spoiled for the rest of the trilogy--well, okay, no, I take that back, I'm pretty spoiled for the rest of the trilogy. But even if I didn't know specifics, I've received enough warnings about the rest of the trilogy that I would be wary about continuing past the first book.
OTOH, people are really, really enthusiastic about reading the first book, so I'm thinking of just reading that and stopping, the way I've heard people suggest only watching the first season of Heroes, or the way![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
iulia and I have agreed that there are specific points where some movies end (Up Close & Personal, Up in the Air) thus rendering them not horrifically depressing. And since I'm sure there are less embarrassing examples of "my canon ends here" than "MICHELLE PFEIFFER AND ROBERT REDFORD LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER TOGETHER, GOD DAMMIT", uh... tell me yours?
Especially tell me yours if it applies to the Holmes canon. I'm into The Return of Sherlock Holmes now, and I understand that things start going ... awry somewhere after this.
