Lewis fic: Raised with the Fume of Sighs
Feb. 27th, 2012 08:26 pmSo a few weeks ago I decided that as I had (finally) run out of Lewis episodes to watch I should see some Morse. Alas my library system only has two episodes of Morse on DVD, and one of them is the one that Lewis isn't in, so I went for the other, a random second series (1988) episode, "Settling of the Sun".
In it, Lewis smokes.
So, uh, obviously I had to write a story about Lewis stealing Hathaway's cigarettes. Title is from Romeo and Juliet: Love is a smoke raised with the fume of sighs. (If you want to quibble with me about whether raised should be made please be aware that I spent way too much time reading about the Q1-versus-Q2 debate while procrastinating on writing and have made my choice accordingly. Ahem.)
Lewis/Hathaway. Explicit. 4100 words.
Lewis raised the cigarette to his lips and closed his eyes as he inhaled.
