feanorinleatherpants' birthday, and I wanted to write her birthday fic, and I was having a stressed out day myself so I wanted to write her nice comforting birthday fic. So I thought, hey, Feanor does that lovely and comforting teddy bear art featuring Self Care Bear counseling Bucky Bear (following, naturally, after Bucky Bear's ordeal with the HYDRA Tentacle Monsters) and... um...
So then I wrote fic about a teddy bear having conflicted feelings about his interest in kink given his past traumatic experiences of being non-consensually cuddled.
(The fact that I feel much weirder explaining fic that is ultimately about teddy bears wrapped in blankets and exchanging hugs than I do tossing out, you know, any manner of rape-and-torture fic imaginable, is... probably somehow significant. MOVING ON.)
