Jun. 13th, 2003 10:35 pmSo, last night around ten, the psycho roommates decided that the time had come to switch the DSL from their computer to somebody else's, and lots of technical difficulties ensued, and it took about 24 hours before the apartment was properly back online. But, whatever. I'm not going to bother being angry. I spent a lot of that time asleep, or doing productive things like filing for income-dependent loan repayment, and moving the one screen on my bedroom windows over to the window that I actually have open all the time. Very exciting.
Also, I started indexing! Whee! 52 entries down, ~885 to go. Have realized that the index for 1500+ pages of longhand rambling is going to be a fairly hefty document in its own right, but, whatever. Also decided that I'm going to need to index my two previous livejournals (both deleted, the most recent one today after I finally finished printing out all the entries). And my saved emails, which I have to print anyway since my university email is going to evaporate in a few more months.
Anyway, this is really entertaining for me - I was simultaneously more and less a spaz than I remembered being, at 14. And I'm having a pathetic amount of fun with typefaces and subject headings and sub-headings, and, well, there's a reason this project appealed to me. Big challenge now is trying to figure out how to number the eight-page meditation on religion and fandom that's tucked in between entries 162 and 163, but was written before either (it ought to go between 161 and 162, but they're back to back on the same sheet).
