Ought to be sleeping right now, but who cares?

I finished reading Hard Core Logo on my lunch break at work, and. Wow. Wow. I kept waiting for it to go where the movie went, and it just... wow.

So then movie!billy invaded my brain and decided that he had had a very secret diary (hidden inside a copy of Spin in his guitar case, which he figured was safe because if Joe ever touched a music mag he or it or possibly both would instantly burst into flame) and started reading me snippets, and while my brain was still full of Billy, I walked out to my car, started it up, and heard my morning radio chick say, "And that's new music from Billy Talent. Billy Talent will be playing at The Shelter blah blah blah and he's got a lot of energy and it'll be a really fun show." One of the guys pointed out that it's "they" and added, "I don't think there's a guy named Billy Talent."

So I just, um. Emailed them about the existence of a guy named Billy Tal(l)ent. Forgot to mention the part about how I'd be willing to go see them (especially for $5.89) if there was any chance of them covering, say, Blue Tattoo. It would probably suck, but it would be funny.

I should go to sleep now. Really.
