Managed to do some actual writing at work today, once I got past my worst Fraser-vocabulary-narrative-roadblock ever (Q: What does Fraser call boobs? A: He doesn't. No, seriously, he just can't.) to the tune of over 1,200 words. Once I got that smacked onto the end of the hockey AU (and the wonky formatting fixed and the prose tidied up and the logic refined), I ran a word count and discovered that the hockey AU is now, finally, today, my longest WIP at just over 28,000 words.

So. Go, me!

Other accomplishments of the last 24 hours include: making trips to two different comics shops and buying issues of two completely new-to-me titles, and turning down an interview for a job I decided I didn't want - that Tuesday-Saturday schedule would have sucked when it came time to go to cons. I don't have that many vacation days, yo.

Now I think I'm going to go do something really crazy, like, I dunno, eat dinner and read a book. The kind that's not precisely thirty-two pages long.
