GIP and *facepalm*
Oct. 8th, 2005 10:09 pmDebuting my The Washington Capitals: They Kinda Suck icon.
Because I'm not saying I don't love my adopted team, but Jesus Tap-Dancing Christ, they allowed 15 goals in two games, in no small part because they insisted on playing the same goalie two nights in a row and then let the other team walk all over him until he stepped up to defend himself and took a roughing penalty. Because, hell, why not, right? Not like anyone would notice among the other EIGHTEEN his teammates took. Oh! And then, when he was obviously at the end of his rope, left said goalie in the net for the rest of the game, so he could get scored on three more times.
Oy.
