Never could get the hang of Thursdays.
Mar. 16th, 2006 04:20 pmI found out today that today will have been my last Thursday at work for the rest of the semester, as there is some mysterious scheduling problem about four full days and two half days. It means working all day on Saturday, but it also means SLEEPING IN on Thursday, so I am looking at the bright side here.

lynnmonster posted a link last night to her iPod video-conversion program of choice, and overnight it converted and loaded a few .avis for me, which means that this morning on the Metro I finally got to watch an SG-1 episode I'd downloaded ages ago and kept meaning to get around to (9x13, the one with the alternates, and ( spoiler? I guess? )) and, wow, that was a fun commute. I sat there and waved my hands and made occasional tiny involuntary noises and I'm really pretty sure everyone else on the train thought I was autistic or mentally retarded. But happy. And isn't that the important thing?
Now I have to find and convert many, many more AVIs so that I can have wee-tiny Don and Charlie! and Gil and Cath and Nick and Warrick and Greg and Sara! and John and Rodney! and House and Wilson! all on my trusty iPod. YAY IPOD.
