fan_flashworks challenge was "Elusive or Ephemeral" and naturally I wanted to write something about Nate seeing a mirage in the desert. And, well, this was the only pairing that made sense! The fact that I have been waiting a year and a half for this pairing to exist outside my brain is just happy coincidence. :D
