This week in writing, 10/29
Oct. 29th, 2017 08:54 pm…Yeah, I don’t know, just not a lot of writing this week? Oddly enough the two days when I was away/drove home FOREVER through the rain were the most productive days I had all week for writing fic.
But now NaNo is coming….
WIPs currently active: 6, up one from last week because I got started on my Fandom Loves Puerto Rico fic for @brb-theres-cookies!!!
Words written this week: 2,258
WIPs that got no words this week: 2 - broken dick epic and Born in the Blood (although I am planning to use NaNo to bust through as much of Born in the Blood as I can in a month so maybe it could actually? get? finished???)
WIPs that did get words this week:
Slavefic #6: 213
Wildly Unmanageable Ace!Bitty Longfic: 217, after spending most of the time I allotted for working on it wondering whether it’s actually worth powering through how intensely personal it feels to write this particular fic. (Conclusion: yes, but also I should maybe make some kind of outline so it doesn’t threaten to just expand infinitely toward no particular resolution.)
Jack/Bitty angsty happy ending kidfic: 1,575, with many thanks to Ngozi for giving me Jack sitting on the couch with Bitty in his lap in the latest update, because that was exactly the image I needed for this scene. Now I … should probably figure out how to move on from Big Intense Talk to … the rest of the story. Um. Whatever that is.
Fandom Loves Puerto Rico Bitty/Jack kinkfic: 253, plus a lot of brainstorming, and oh man, I am so excited!!!!
